Raymond Malinga Wins Prestigious IKON Award for Best Animation

 

Director Raymond Malinga won the prestigious IKON Award for Best Animation at the just concluded awards in Kampala. He won for his outstanding work on the acclaimed Disney animation series "Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire," specifically for his contribution to the character 'Herderboy' within the Series.

Malinga's visionary approach to storytelling and animation has garnered widespread acclaim, captivating audiences and industry experts alike since his animation short 'A Kalabanda at my Homework' released back in 2017.

Through his work at Disney, Malinga says he has greatly improved the animation production efficiencies and also pushed the boundaries of what can be accomplished at CREATURES STUDIOS, his animation company based in Kampala, Uganda.

Also recently releasing the kids animation series for nursery and preschoolers titled "Kunda & Friends". Creatures Animation Studios and Raymond Malinga have and can only push the industry further to greater highs both in animation and the film industry in general.
