The FILM: The Sugarcane Man (2020) (Animation | Thriller | Short | 5min)
In the hills of Uganda, a 10-year-old boy named Akello is walking towards a village, playing his homemade kalimba near a sugarcane field. A malnourished dog suddenly appears, snatching Akello's kalimba and disappearing into the field. Determined to retrieve his beloved musical instrument, Akello chases after the dog through the dense sugarcane stalks, towards the dwelling place of the notorious Sugarcane Man.
