Henry Muwonge works as a civil servant and resides in an affluent area. However, his life takes a drastic turn when he loses his government job due to the country's economic challenges and strict financial measures. As the patriarch of a middle class family, he is faced with the daunting task of conveying this harsh new reality to his family.
This leads to a series of challenging decisions as they transition from a lifestyle of prosperity to one on the fringes of society. Adapting to a restricted budget proves to be a difficult adjustment for the family members.
