The FILM: Kemi (2020) (Drama | 86 min)
Kemi finds herself in a heartbreaking situation where she is forced to part ways with her precious newborn. Despite understanding the potential risks, her deep motherly instincts refuse to let go.
Tragedy strikes Kemi's life when she loses her beloved husband during the sixth month of her pregnancy. And as if that wasn't enough, she is then forced to vacate the family home by her husband's relatives. Seeking refuge, she moves to her mother's house in the village but unfortunately, fate deals another cruel blow as her mother passes away shortly before she gives birth.
Kemi now finds herself in a lonely desperate world, burdened with the responsibility of providing for both herself and her newborn. She must navigate this harsh reality alone, striving to ensure the survival and well-being of her precious child.
