Kunda Kids & Creatures Animation Studios scale up after securing 2.5 Billion Shilling Funding

After the successful launch of the 'Kunda & Friends' animated series, Kunda Kids, the award-winning children's publisher is scaling up its operations thanks in part to a $700,000 (UGX. 2.5 Billion) pre-seed funding by Zrosk Investment Management that the company secured.

Kunda Kids was founded by Oladele and Louisa Olafuyi who launched their children's publishing company after struggling to find educational animated material for their son that portrayed African culture.

The couple who met in London while working as marketers modelled their series of children's content around their mission to infuse African culture into modern storylines and integrate black excellence into media and literature.

'Kunda and Friends' Animated Series is produced at Creatures Animation Studios here in Kampala, Uganda led by Award Winning Director Robin Malinga of the "Disney+ Kizazi Motto: Generation Fire" fame.
