Sam (Julius Kitandwe) a Boda Boda (Motocycle Taxi) rider is addicted to sports betting and thinks its his quick financial way out. But instead of making the quick money he had hoped, he ends up losing his livelihood, his Boda Boda.
Akapapula follows the lives three gamblers, Sam, a boda boda rider, Tata Junior, a family man, and a promising student who all try their hand at sports betting for a quick fortune soon all realise its not what they thought it was.
