There is a new breed of stand up comedians in town and they are one hilarious bunch.
Known as the Brainwash Comedy, these comedians will give any of your favorite comedians a run for their money.
We caught up with them at Sabrina's to see what the fuss was all about.
Opening the festivities on the night last Tuesday was Simon Peter Opema followed by comedians Lam Juice, Arnold, Dickens, Andrew, Ronnie McVex and funny man Anthony.
Ladies also make an appearance in this one with two stand up comedian ladies EVE and Carol hitting the stage on this night.
Touching on everything from politics, the economy to real life talk, these comedians cover a huge number of topics with in the two and a half hour show.
This show comes as a breathe of fresh air considering the few options for stand up comedy in Kampala, and it also expands the arena that upcoming comedians can show case there talent and comedy skills.
When it comes to standup comedy, many will recognise obvious names like Pablo, Idringi Patrick and Omara Daniel, however this latest stand up group wants it made known that there is a new breed of comedians in town.
Also performing at the monthly Punkd Comedy Show at the Silk Lounge along side Daniel Omara, Irish Kyebandula, who by the way does the meanest Hon. Bitamazire impersonation ever, the Brainwash comedy crew is slowly but steadily winning over the crowds.
