The FILM: Law of Consequences (2024) (Drama)
Kirabo, a struggling journalist and writer, faces both professional and
personal challenges, especially when her father's health deteriorates. Her
ex-boyfriend, Kisa, now a chief magistrate, is married to her sister and also
takes on her father's medical expenses.
But Kirabo, wanting to further her career, takes on a story uncovering Kisa's
unsatisfactory law credentials, leading her and her friend Beth to uncover how
far the deception goes. Kisa however retaliates, using the fact that he is the
one in control of her father's medical bills.
The situation escalates when Kirabo decides to pick up the story doing a full investigation with a reputable international network. This leads to significant consequences for both Kisa and Kirabo, Highlighting the personal costs and consequences of seeking the truth at all costs.
